Background & Journey

Choosing to pursue an MBA is a significant decision, and the application process requires both clarity and self-awareness. Having gone through it myself and later worked with applicants targeting top global programs including M7’s, I bring a grounded perspective to the process.

I started my career in consulting at EY after graduating from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, then ran a retail business in India for several years before pursuing my MBA at Columbia Business School in 2020. After that, I joined AlixPartners in New York as a Senior Vice President, spending over four years advising large global companies on transformation initiatives across retail and consumer goods. I work with candidates to help them articulate their story clearly and bring structure to their application, drawing on my own experience as both an applicant and a practitioner.

Why I’m passionate about mentoring

My interest in MBA admissions is rooted in my own experience as an applicant. While the process itself was not the hard part, I struggled with articulation and storytelling. I had the experience and the goals, but structuring them into a clear, compelling narrative was harder than I expected. Having built that muscle over the last few years, I feel like it would be a great asset to any applicant I work with.
